Training that sets you up for success
When I started to research franchise ownership, my franchise coach asked if I would be interested in pest control. My initial answer was “no way!” After further research I found Mosquito Shield was actually the perfect fit for my family and me, but I was concerned about not knowing anything about pest control and getting the appropriate state licenses. As a former service member, it was important to me to find a franchise with strong camaraderie. With this huge yet tight-knit community of owners and corporate support I always have someone to reach out to when I want to bounce around new ideas. Many owners take the time to schedule monthly check-in calls together and even go on annual vacations with our families together. This is in addition to the corporate-established owner support groups that meet monthly. Some of the best advice I get is from other owners who have been where I am today.

All the guesswork of what might or might not work is done for me. I do have some local pictures that I use on social media but everything else is provided. This removes one of the biggest burdens that new business startups typically face. This is something a small business would not have the power to do on their own. With these savings I can reinvest back into other areas of the budget, such as marketing.
